Important COVID-19 Updates

We’ve made important updates to our practice to ensure patient safety.

We are closely monitoring and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to ensure we are doing our part to keep our patients and our staff safe.

Here’s what to expect at your next dental appointment:

Before your appointment
•   To make sure patients are healthy, our team will call you to ask you some health-related questions before your scheduled visit.  Covid-19 Patient Screening Form.
•   We are limiting the number of patients in our office.  You will be asked to wait outside of the office or in your car until we are ready for you.
•   You are asked to bring only one companion or allow older children to go into the office without a parent.
•   We follow strict OSHA guidelines in regards to dental infection control and sterilization protocol.

At your appointment
•   You’ll be asked to wear a mask to your appointment.
•   The dental team will take your temperature and may repeat the health questions asked before your appointment.
•   Additional air filter and intraoral aerosol management (Isodry) are in each treatment room.
•   The dental team may wear additional protective equipment, including face masks, plastic face shields, goggles and surgical gowns.

After your appointment
•   If you start to experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 2 days of your appointment, call to alert the office staff so those who came into contact with you may be tested for the disease.
•   Schedule your next appointment on your way out. Your oral health is connected to your overall health, so one of the many ways you can stay healthy during these times is to keep up with regular dental care. We are here for you.

•   All team members are up to date with all CDC and OSHA recommendations.
•   All team members are screen daily including temperature recording.
•   All team members are equipped with appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment).

Let’s stay safe and help each other out! We appreciate your support!
